The Floral Fragrance Family

The most flattering fragrance in the history of perfumery is undoubtedly floral, and it continues to whisper in our ears that we are sublime, all day long.

Today, Studio des Parfums shares a little more about the floral family. In perfumery, certain flowers are used more than others: jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, and tuberose. These notes are available in our perfume organ, which features over 100 notes.

Elegance is the ultimate criterion for floral fragrances.

Flowers: a symbol of femininity

A floral bouquet is like carrying spring with you. Each flower has a special meaning and its own unique language. Floral scents are very popular with women. Indeed, they symbolize femininity as well as natural beauty. Floral notes lend a light and sweet scent to a fragrance.

Floral notes and their characteristics

At Studio des Parfums, a multitude of combinations are possible, so you can find the fragrance that suits you best. Let yourself be swept away into a world of scents and memories.

Your fragrance can be sensual, refined, or full of character thanks to our essences, crafted in-house at our laboratory in Paris.

If you’d like to add a sensual touch to your fragrance, jasmine is your ally.

For a more exotic and sunny fragrance, ylang-ylang is your best choice.

Looking for a romantic touch? A bouquet of lily of the valley, rose, and iris, of course!

Floral Fragrances and Their Success

Dior is known for celebrating flowers: Miss Dior, J’Adior, and Joy.

At Dior, perfume is the central theme of its inspiration: “Perfume is the finishing touch to a dress. A perfume is a door opening onto a rediscovered world.” (Christian Dior)

These iconic perfumes owe part of their success to the combination of flowers present in each fragrance. Miss Dior celebrates the Damask rose, a symbol of femininity and romance, while J’Adior celebrates ylang-ylang.

Yves Saint Laurent also highlights flowers. The House celebrates lavender and orange blossom with its Libre fragrance and patchouli with its iconic Black Opium fragrance.

Finally, Chanel is known for its refined floral blends, particularly in its famous Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, where jasmine and rose intertwine. Their No. 5 fragrance combines several floral notes: Grasse jasmine, May rose, lily of the valley, and ylang-ylang.

Indulge in sensuality with a beautiful floral fragrance.
